While air frying I noticed uneven cooking results. Food at the back of the mesh basket would often burn & become overly crisp however while items at the front remained undercooked. This inconsistency was evident when I tried preparing cauliflower gnocchi.
By Following the package instructions, I coated the gnocchi with olive oil and arranged them in a single layer on the crisper tray, set the temperature to 400 degrees, and cooked for 13 15 MIN, stirring halfway through. Despite adhering to these guidelines, the results were disappointing, highlighting the appliance’s struggle to deliver consistent air frying performance.
Baking Part
My experience with the PowerXL Air Fryer Grill’s baking function was quite satisfactory. When I tried to make cheddar French fries according to the instructions on the box, The results turned out quite well. The fries were perfectly soft, but the cheese was dry on the outside. The inside is cooked well.
So for me it was 8 out of 10 in the baking category, I also experimented with their other features. They were all quite satisfactory except for the baking section. I tried cookies but they turned out burned, that might be the default temperature setting or something but my experience did get better. Otherwise all the other functions went well.

If we talk about the power XL Air Fryer Grill technical function, it came out better than my expectations. If we talk about baking features, Despite experimenting with various temperatures, functions & cooking techniques like flipping food, results remained inconsistent. The sole exception I found was making cheese quesadillas using the broil setting, which yielded satisfactory results in about five minutes which might be considered as a plus point in this situation.
Based on my experience I would recommend you to have this device but if you are solely using it for the oven then you should look for other upgraded models. All in All it is quite a good purchase and good long time investment for your kitchen.
